Elizabeth (Roper) Law

Elizabeth's passion for the visual arts began with chalk drawing on the footpath at the age of six and was encouraged by her father to draw and paint at every opportunity.

Elizabeth has been taught by some of the most prominent artists such as George Haynes, Nola Farman, Hue Child, Ian Wroth, Arthur Russell, Leon Pericles, and Brian McKay. Her educational achievements majoring in sculpture, have led her into an art teaching career which lasted for 32 years.

Eizabeth has a talent for drawing which she continues to develop at the local life drawing sessions. ‘The human form is inspiring and worth the dedicated study in line, light and shade'.
